Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope all of my readers have a wonderful day today.   I'm uncharacteristically not too busy, as I am not hosting for a rare change.  But I have stumbled upon a bit of bad timing with my last post.  It requires followup and that will be forthcoming sometime this weekend.  But not today.

Enjoy your self.  Enjoy your family, your friends, your pets, whatever.  The only thing I plan to do today regarding food is to make sure my stuffed mushrooms and shrimp-deviled eggs are perfectly delish, and that I leave room for my sister's amazing, once-a-year-at-T'giving, pecan pie.  I hope you will do similar whatever and whomever you are.

Be HAPPY.  Be THANKFUL!

Happy Thanksgivukkah

Turkey day meets the Jewish festival of lights this year in a rare convergence that hasn’t happened since 1888.

The convergence of the two holidays by one calculation won’t happen again for 79,043 years.

ENJOY!!!

I just googled "shrimp devilled eggs" and the first recipe is from Paula Deen. :) Happy Thanksgiving from Abu Dhabi, where I am thankful that my non-American colleagues were terrified of the pumpkin pie, leaving me with lots of delicious leftovers.

Didn't I mention that before at some point? Maybe I didn't. Sometimes I get paranoid about paleoistas tracking me down ... there are some here too, although not on campus as far as I know. You didn't wonder who was hitting your site stats from UAE?

LOL ... You mentioned it I do believe, but for some reason I thought it was temporary. I also have a fanboy from Dubai too :D See? I really am world renowned ;-) Bahahaha!
