More words of advice from an expert on "food addiction" and such ...

I eat cookies every day!

(note:  Italics are Eades response)

Food is not an addictive substance, even candy and cookies...

It's just not.

So candy and cookes aren't addictive. Hasn't Wooo claimed recently that you were addicted to them?

These two are in specific response to her own (innacurate) charges against me. Anyone who cannot eat one cookie (not talking genuine food intolerances) has an eating disorder, not an addiction. Also, eating a cookie is not synonymous with eating cookies as the basis of ones diet.

She's acting very erratically and with disregard to her own personal security. If her friends are truly her friends, they would do better to talk her down and encourage her to seek help rather than encouraging her for their own entertainment.

Dunno why you're leaving comments on Wooo's blog. She has no interest in science or anything that you have to say. Her blog is just another echo-chamber for the "VLC true believers".

Hi Nigel
Yes, arguing with Wooo is like swimming in shark-infested treacle. Dunno why I do it.

Boredom? Masochism? Other? ;-)
Jane Karlsson said…
I think I'm addicted to it.

Arguing/debating" with the likes of Hahn, Wooo et al is a bit like repeatedly banging your head against a brick wall. At first, it's a bit of a novelty. It might even be a bit of fun. After a while, all you get is a chronic headache and a feeling of purposelessness

LOL. Got that feeling from certain LCHF people on Twitter.

Haven't you been following things? Great excitement over there because some nasty person said they had seen no evidence she was ever morbidly obese. Everybody is waiting for her to produce some.
Nigel Kinbrum said…
Uh, nope! I stopped visiting Wooo's blog last year. She's also blocked on FB, so that I don't have to see her crap on there. Ditto for Hahn. Ditto for Nikoley. Life is so much better if you block the nut-jobs, the terminally-stupid & the drunken boors, instead of engaging with them.

Wooo very occasionally writes good material, but even a broken clock has the correct time, twice a day!

Wooo has posted pictures from her childhood. I remember seeing them, but I can't recall which post they were in. She may have since taken them down. She was very fat.

You forget I have been reading every post and all the comments on Wooo's blog for years.

Those photos are either so dark you can't see who it is, or so confused you can't see whether she was fat. There are no photos of her brachioplasty scars. She has tweeted many photos of herself with bare arms, and I have examined them trying to find scars or deformities and found nothing. She told us her arms were 'ruined'.

I do not know whether she was once massively obese. If she says untrue things about me, which she often does, she can expect me to try to find out what else she says that isn't true. It goes without saying that she has said many things about Stephan Guyenet and about Evelyn which are not true.
Nigel Kinbrum said…
That's a good point. The thing is, if you can't trust a single word she says, what's the point in reading every post and all the comments on her blog for years? I think you'd get more gratification from self-flagellation!

So, would you like me to publish any guest posts written by your good self? You have my email address :-)

I can't speak for Jane, but for myself, every single word she's written about me has been saved per advice of legal counsel. I read that which my archive manager informs me may be of interest.

I've demonstrated here using my library blog as an example of how she can make her blog a truly private one. This has always been an option available to her.

Sorry Nigel, I can't write a guest post for you. I don't do that kind of thing. If you want to read my papers look up 'jane karlsson regeneration cambridge' on Google Scholar.

No probs! I'll Google your text string.

There are five, four in JEEM (now called Development) and one in Nature.

Got a link for the one that's not showing up in https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%22jane+karlsson%22+regeneration+cambridge ?

It's called 'Sequence of regeneration in the Drosphila wing disc'

It's been obvious for years that Wooo is extremely mentally...off. I remember when I first started reading her blog after reading her various comments on Guyenet's site...very few if any replies on her posts about the tiniest details of her food intake, and how she could FEEL how that one extra gram of carbs messed up her estrogen levels. Guyenet once wrote a post saying something about bipolar, and wooo went OFF in the comments, assuming it was a dig at her. It shocked that hell out of me when, after maybe a year of not reading her blog, I came back and saw that she had a ton of followers and was getting lots of comments on her posts. I don't know what happened in that year, but her popularity was just more proof to me that the LC/paleo world was not to be taken seriously. And I'm not even going into what a disgusting racist she is. I'd feel bad for her if not for that. She obviously needs help, but she's such a lousy person it's hard to feel sorry for her.

I find it hard to fathom what makes a person follow her. She states repeatedly how she hates people. That means you! The single males with time on their hands I get. The married ones? Kinda creepy. The supposedly legit folks who link to her as a source of meaningful information? Shakes head ...
